24 hr. Gum Rejuvenation
BRILLIANTLY CONCEIVED, AMAZINGLY SIMPLE….
The Pinhole® Surgical Technique (PST®) has dramatically changed the way we treat gum recession at Arlington Dental. Dr. Stier no longer cuts the tissue from your palate and gums, and sutures it to sites where your gums have receded. He simply creates a tiny pinhole in the affected gum, gently loosens the gum from around the tooth, infuses collagen to stabilize the gums, and healing begins almost immediately! He can treat 4-6 teeth per hour, enabling him to treat the majority of your teeth in one comfortable office visit!
REMARKABLY EFFECTIVE, IMMEDIATE, LONG-LASTING RESULTS.
Dr. Stier will use PST® to not only treat natural teeth affected by gum recession but also to restore crowns and bridges to a natural, well-fitting look. In fact, The Pinhole Technique can be used in up to 95 percent of cases that typically would require painful tissue grafting. According to a 33-month study, the rate of success of the Pinhole Surgical Technique® is comparable to the highest rate (of 90%) achieved by traditional methods of treatment.
HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING WITH THE UNPLEASANT SYMPTOMS AND DAMAGING EFFECTS OF RECEDING GUMS?
If you’ve been putting off gum treatment for fear of the surgery and painful recovery involved, your wait could be over! Arrange a no-cost appointment with Dr. Stier right away to determine if you are a candidate for this virtually painless procedure. In certain cases, gum recession can be treated by taking preventative measures, including changing your oral hygiene habits. If your gum recession has progressed to a more advanced stage, however, the Pinhole Surgical Technique® may be just what you need.
What is Gum Grafting Surgery?
Gum grafting is an invasive gum surgery that involves cutting soft tissue from the roof of the mouth and stitching (grafting) it to the affected gum areas. One gum recession treatment typically treats 3-4 teeth, takes two hours of surgery to complete, and requires a painful 3-4 week healing process. Numerous surgeries are required to treat the entire mouth.
What is the Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique?
The Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique (PST®) is a minimally invasive option for treating gum recession. PST® has replaced the need for painful gum grafting surgery with a simple, painless procedure that doesn’t involve incisions or suturing, and heals in 24 hrs. All of the tools and techniques being used in this procedure have been developed, tried, and proven over a ten year period by Dr. John Chao.
